The Lecky Library is one of the key libraries within Trinity College Dublin, forming part of the interconnected Berkeley, Lecky, and Ussher Library complex. The Lecky Library offers a blend of modern and traditional academic resources, catering primarily to the humanities and social sciences. It is easily accessible via the Arts Building or through the Berkeley Library. The library spans two floors, with the upper and lower levels providing ample study space for students.

The Lecky Library offers a variety of sensory experiences depending on the area you are in. The upper floor is bathed in excellent natural light, creating a bright and open environment. This floor features a mix of open-plan seating and pod-style desks, allowing for both group work and individual study. The lower floor, while slightly darker, maintains an open and spacious feel with predominantly open-plan seating.
For those seeking a quieter, more controlled sensory environment, the upper floor also includes TCD Sense spaces. These spaces are designed for students with sensory sensitivities and include flexible seating options, individual study pods, and a dedicated sensory room.
The Lecky Library can be accessed in multiple ways.
Enter the Lecky Library directly from the Arts Building, where clear signage will guide you to the entrance.
Since the Berkeley, Lecky, and Ussher Libraries are interconnected, you can also access the Lecky Library through the central space connecting these libraries.

The Lecky Library is fully accessible at all levels. Both the upper and lower floors can be easily reached via lifts, and there are ramps where necessary. The study spaces, including the TCD Sense spaces, are designed to accommodate a variety of accessibility needs.
