Description

Primarily a social space for residents, Oldham House at Trinity Hall was named after Alice Oldham, one of the main campaigners for the admission of women to TCD. Oldham House contains the Warden's Office, the Junior Common Room and other social spaces.

 Oldham house provides a number of lovely sensory spaces with a variety of seating including enclosed chairs, couches, and rocking chairs. The rooms at the front of Oldham House provide very nice natural light from the big bay windows.

 Oldham house provides a number of lovely sensory spaces with a variety of seating including enclosed chairs, couches, and rocking chairs. The rooms at the front of Oldham House provide very nice natural light from the big bay windows. Spaces can be used as social or study spaces when quiet. There is a library upstairs with seating for 16 students for quiet study. Access to Oldham House is from 8.00am to 11.30pm. Residents wishing to hold functions and events can book various rooms and areas throughout the communal social space. The upper floors are served by a main central staircase and are therefore inaccessible to wheelchair users. The building comprises of common rooms, leisure facilities and an assembly hall. There are additional social spaces at the back of Oldham house with two pool tables.
