Description

The Cricket Pitch Benches are a series of benches that run alongside the cricket pitch, which is also the main grassy area of the campus. These benches offer a comfortable outdoor seating area perfect for relaxation, socialising, or enjoying a meal. Due to their location along one of the main pathways connecting the east and west ends of the campus, this area tends to be busy with students, staff, and tourists, particularly during good weather.

Facilities

Seating is available with numerous benches running along the cricket pitch. These benches provide an excellent spot to sit and relax while enjoying the view of the campus's large grassy area.
Plug sockets are unavailable in this outdoor space. Students needing to charge their devices should plan accordingly.
Food and drink are accessible nearby. The Pavillion Bar (The Pav) and other campus cafes offer refreshments that can be enjoyed while sitting on the benches.
The nearest kettle can be found in the SU Kitchen in House 6.

The Cricket Pitch Benches (Main) area is accessible to all students. The pathways leading to the benches are well-maintained to ensure ease of access for everyone.
