Description

The Entrance Transition Spaces, found near the entrances or stairwells of the Boland Library, are designed to help students adjust to a new sensory environment. These spaces are ideal for pausing to reorient yourself, take a break, or do some casual study before moving on to more focused work in quieter areas of the library. The open design and easy access make these areas versatile, whether you're sitting down for a quick study session or just taking a moment to relax.

The transition spaces offer a variety of seating options to suit different needs. This includes comfortable chairs, high-back seating, and enclosed acoustic seating for those who prefer a little more quiet. Some spaces even have rocking chairs, making it a relaxing place to gather your thoughts or study casually.
