Description

The 5th Floor Garden in the Arts Building is a tranquil rooftop garden open to all Trinity staff and students. This enclosed garden features a variety of plants and a few benches, providing a peaceful environment for relaxation and study. While generally quiet, there can be a low droning sound from the building's ventilation system. This space is perfect for those seeking a relaxed place to sit, study, or enjoy lunch, weather permitting.

Facilities

The garden offers several benches for seating. These benches are strategically placed to provide comfortable spots for relaxation and contemplation amidst the greenery.
There are no sockets available, however, charging spaces can be found just inside on the 5th floor of the Arts Building.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to the 5th Floor Garden. It is an ideal spot to enjoy your lunch in a serene and natural setting.
The nearest kettle from here can be found in the SU Kitchen in House 6.
The nearest microwave can be found in the SU Kitchen in House 6.
The garden is accessible to all students. The space is designed to be inclusive, with pathways and seating that accommodate various mobility needs.

The 5th Floor Garden provides a sensory-rich environment with the natural sounds of rustling leaves and bird calls, complemented by the visual beauty of diverse plant species. The low droning sound from the ventilation system is generally unobtrusive but may be noticeable.

To find the 5th Floor Garden, enter the Arts Building and head to the fifth floor, continue down the hall until you see the windows that show the garden area.

The area can be a bit tight to navigate, but is accessible via the main doorway.
