Description

The Buttery Vaults is a designated Zón Mac Léinn located next to the main Buttery restaurant. This space provides a comfortable and convenient area for students to relax, socialise, or study, with ample seating and tables available.

Facilities

There are a variety of seating options available, including chairs and tables, as well as cushioned stools and couches along the walls. This mix of seating types ensures that students can find a spot that suits their needs, whether they're working on assignments or catching up with friends.
There are a few plug sockets available, though they are sparsely located along the walls. It's advisable to charge your devices beforehand if you plan to spend an extended period here.
Outside food and drink are allowed in the Buttery Vaults. Additionally, you can purchase food and drinks from the Buttery kitchen as well as the coffee station, making it a versatile spot for dining and studying.
The nearest kettle from here can be found in the SU Kitchen in House 6.
The nearest microwave from here can be found in the Atrium.
This area is accessible to all students. However, when crowded, it might pose a challenge to navigate. The layout is designed to be inclusive, but the high traffic during peak times can make movement a bit more difficult.

The Buttery Vaults are connected to the main Buttery restaurant, which tends to be noisy and crowded during peak lunchtime hours. However, this room can act as a buffer, reducing some of the noise and smells from the kitchen. It's a good spot if you want to be close to the action but still need a bit of a break from the busiest areas.

There are several entrances to the Vaults:

- Two entrances from the Buttery restaurant

- One entrance from the hallways under the dining complex

- Another door that tends to be locked leading to the Atrium main hall

The Buttery Vaults are fully accessible to all students. The area is designed with inclusivity in mind, though it can become crowded at times, which might make navigation slightly more challenging.
