Description

The Academic Registry Quiet Room, located just off the main Academic Registry, is a sensory-friendly space designed for student respite and individual meetings. This room provides a calm and quiet environment where students can relax, study, or meet with Academic Registry staff to address any queries. Primarily used for individual meetings during September, the Quiet Room is open to all students as a peaceful retreat for the remainder of the year.

Facilities

The Quiet Room offers comfortable seating options, including rocking chairs, bean bags, and tables. The layout is designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere conducive to both relaxation and focused work.
Numerous plug sockets are available, ensuring that you can keep your devices charged while using the Quiet Room. Whether you need to power your laptop, tablet, or phone, you’ll find adequate outlets to meet your needs.
Food and Drink isn't permitted here, the nearest place from here you could eat is the Global Room.

Clear signage is provided throughout the Academic Registry to help you locate the Quiet Room. There is large sign above the door to help, you can also ask for directions at the Academic Registry Service Desk.
