Description

The Trinity Global Room is a welcoming student support hub and event space on campus for all Trinity students. Managed by the International Student Liaison Officer, this space is designed to assist both international and local students in settling into life at Trinity and Dublin. The Global Room service is supported by a team of Global Ambassadors, students trained to help with a wide range of queries, from immigration and accommodation to general advice on living in Dublin. The Global Room features enclosed seating areas in the corner for those who seek a bit more privacy.

Facilities

The Global Room offers a variety of seating options to accommodate different needs. Comfortable couches, armchairs, and communal tables provide spaces for relaxation, socialising, and studying. The enclosed seating area offers a quieter, more private space within the room.
Numerous plug sockets are available throughout the Global Room, ensuring you can easily charge your devices while you relax or work.
Feel free to bring your own food and beverages into the Global Room. While there are no facilities to prepare food, you are welcome to enjoy your snacks and drinks in this space.

The Global Room is fully accessible to students. Located on the first floor of the Watts Building, next to the Academic Registry, the space is designed to be inclusive and accommodating to all students.

The Global Room is conveniently located beside the Academic Registry on the first floor of the Watts Building. Clear signage throughout the Hamilton Building will help direct you.

Designed to accommodate approximately 80 people, the space includes various seating options, workspaces, and areas for social interaction. The layout encourages a community feel while also providing spots for individual or small group activities.
