The Atrium is centre of student society life, hosing several bookable rooms for society events and meetings. The main hall comprises of a four storey oak interior and is within the Dining Hall Complex, linking all levels of the building (Namely the Buttery and Dining Hall).

The tall usually sunlit hall at the centre of the atrium tends to be quiet, with only rustling heard from the neighbouring Dining Hall & Buttery. The corridors of the atrium spaces between the rooms may have people talking or taking part in society events, particularly during midday.
The main entrance of the atrium can be found on the left side of the dining complex, the main Atrium hall is accessibily via The Dining Hall and The Buttery
